Description Manohar E-316 L is a Rutile type, Heavy coated, low carbon 18Cr-12Ni and Mo-2.5, Stainless Steel Electrodes. The weld metal is highly resistance to crack, corrosion and excellent creep strength and scaling 5-10% ferrite give resistance to corrosion and cracking at high temp. up to 850°C Operates equally well on AC/DC (+) in all position.
Applications
Manohar E-316 L is ideally suited for AISI 18/12 Mo Steel such as 316 and 316 Mo, Typical application includes all Cr, Ni, Mo and stablised Steel of 18/12 Mo type, Welding of house hold articles, Hospital Apparatus, Milk and Soap industries, Apparatus for Nitric Acid, Acetic Acid etc.

PRECAUTION Always use the DRY Electrodes
RECOMMENDATION REDRY the electrodes at 200°C for one hour. Use low current, short ARC and Stringer bead technique. Maintain interpass temperature at 150°C Max.
